BIOGRAPHY

DR. SAUL M. SCHERZER, Ph.D. has been a consulting psychologist for over three decades working with corporations in the USA, Europe and Asia. He has consulted to more than 25 Chief Executives performing outplacement counseling, coaching, team building, conflict resolution and organization surveys to improve the effectiveness and productivity of executives. Dr. Saul's background, experience and skills lie heavily in pragmatism. In addition to a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, an MBA and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology, he has completed post doctoral work in Behavioral Medicine and Cognitive Therapy. He was awarded the Diplomate by the American Board of Professional Psychology for higher competency in Business and Organizational Psychology.

Dr. Saul's experience has been largely in major corporations: General Electric, Black & Decker, Revlon, International Paper, Union Camp, Champion International, Citicorp, Halliburton, International Flavors & Fragrances and others, involving mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other significant changing cultures.

Dr. Saul has been on the faculty of several New York-based universities, teaching organizational behavior courses for over 15 years and has been an advisor to graduate students involved in organizational research. Prior to being a consultant, he was Director of Organization Development for GE, Director of Management Development for ITT and a management consultant for Booz & Co. He is a competitive swimmer with the US Masters Swimming Organization.
